Coxsbazar:

A six-member delegation led by H.E. Mr. Mehmet Akif Yılmaz, Hon’ble Member of the Turkish Grand National Assembly, and facilitated by the Embassy of the Republic of Türkiye in Dhaka, visited Cox’s Bazar and the Rohingya refugee camps to observe ongoing humanitarian operations.

The delegation expressed high appreciation for the effective coordination and humanitarian efforts of the Office of the Refugee Relief and Repatriation Commissioner (RRRC) and commended Bangladesh’s generosity in hosting the displaced Rohingya population.

During a courtesy meeting with the RRRC, both sides reaffirmed their commitment to continued collaboration. The delegation conveyed Türkiye’s intent to sustain and strengthen its humanitarian cooperation with Bangladesh.

On behalf of the Government of Bangladesh, the RRRC expresses sincere gratitude to the Government of the Republic of Türkiye for its steadfast support and solidarity with the Rohingya response.
